The team over at the Port Lincoln Hotel partnered up with Port Adelaide’s Pirate Life Brewing last weekend to put together “Discover the South Coast” - a 6 course ‘Beergustation’ celebrating the world class produce from the Eyre Peninsula - snuck in just before the statewide 6 day circuit breaker!
It was a fantastic evening packed full of great beers and great produce. Attended by a mix of locals, travellers from Adelaide, as well as a number of the team members from Pirate Life.
Head Chef Kaushik Aiyer displayed his culinary finesse with some mouthwatering dishes, such as his Braised Roe Eye Abalone with stir fried mushrooms and coconut foam (paired with Pirate Life Brewing’s South Coast Pale Ale) and Bouillabaisse of Greenly Island Kawahagi, Kinkawooka Mussels, Vongole saffron rouille and 5 Loaves Bakery sourdough (paired with Pirate Life Brewing’s IIPA).
