It was an unthinkable calamity for the whole world. Some called it "a once in year 100 year phenomenon". The hospitality industry took an enormous blow. Our entire ability to operate stopped. 

We as group had never experienced such a profound event in our lifetime. Nor had our staff. Pubs are our industry, yet most importantly they are our livelihood.

It's easy to forget. We've come so far, mainly due to the diligence and commitment of the Australian community. The Hurley Hotel Group can't thank you enough. Our hotels are community establishments, and the community is who we serve.

On this day, let's not forget the progress we've made. Your local pub is still here to serve you. We're still here to serve you. On March the 23rd, treat yourself to a hard earned drink. We'd really appreciate it.
